The Goodguys car club once again took over Texas Motor Speedway for their 24th annual Lone Star Nationals car show. This is a massive event, filling the infield with approximately 3,000 show cars and 150 vendors. This is a popular show, with upwards of 60,000 attendees over the course of the weekend. No matter if you like classic, antique, or custom cars, there is a little something for everyone to see.

One fun highlight for me was the presence of the cast of the Velocity show “Bitchin’ Rides.” Shop owner Dave Kindig was there with some of his crew and several of the cars featured on their show. Dave was gracious enough to chat with me for a few minutes, despite looking pretty wiped out from the heat and the constant flow of admirers like me.
